Years 1 through 3:  Full coverage parts and labour
Years 3:  Full coverage of parts only
Years 4 through 15:  Prorated coverage of frame only

In the unlikely event that a manufacturing fault develops during the warranty period, please inform the retailer where you purchased the product.  You will need to supply them with product name, size, date and proof of purchase & description of the complaint.
PLEASE NOTE:
For invalid claims within the warranty/guarantee period, an inspection fee and transportation fee will be charged.
If the Sealy product purchased is no longer available, Sealy will use the retail price of a comparable model.
In order for the limited warranty to be valid, you must be the original purchaser, and have purchased the Sealy Adjustable Power Foundation from an authorized Sealy dealer in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho only.
No inspection or warranty will be honored if an original proof of purchase is not provided or the labels are not intact, to validate the purchase date and purchaser.
In the event that Sealy repairs or replaces its Adjustable Power Foundation, this limited warranty/guarantee will not be renewable nor extended but continue from the original date of purchase of the repaired or replaced item.
This warranty is applicable in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho only

NOT COVER BY YOUR LIMITED WARRANTY
Damage resulting from misuse or abuse caused by the purchaser or any third party
Damage caused by repairs or parts replacement by an unauthorized person.
Damage caused if the Sealy Adjustable Power Foundation has been mishandled, subject to physical abuse or an improper power supply, or by failing to adhere to the Owner’s Manual and this warranty.
Damaged mattresses, foundation cover(s), fabric(s), bedding, cables, electrical cords, or accessories supplied by non approved Sealy dealers or any third party.  Contact your Sealy dealer for warranty information on these items.
Modification of the Sealy Adjustable Power Foundation without prior written consent from the manufacturer.

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT
Power Surges – Use a power surge protection unit to your power supply outlet when plugging your Adjustable Power Foundation electric cord.
Don’t overload the wall outlet by plugging in too many appliances.  It’s good idea to have ony the bed plugged into the outlet.
When moving the Adjustable Power Foundation, it is suggested that 2 people is needed to avoid dragging on the surface which could cause components to break.
Although the Adjustable Power Foundation is designed to be raised while in use, try to lower your Adjustable Power Foundation when you’re not using it, as it’s better for the mattress and frame to lie flat.
When cleaning your Adjustable Power Foundation try to keep harsh chemicals away from the electric components to avoid damage.  Cleaning with mild soap and water will keep your Adjustable Power Foundation looking new for years without resorting to harsh chemicals.
Avoid sitting on the foot of the bed as this will put extra pressure on the motor and the excess weight may cause motor failure
