Hisense offers a standard 36-month (3-year) warranty on major household appliances like refrigerators, covering faulty manufacture and/or defective material for domestic use. An additional 12-month warranty (making it a 4-year warranty in total) can be obtained if the product is successfully registered with Hisense South Africa within the first 6 months of the purchase date. The warranty covers parts and labour for manufacturing defects only. Exclusions include damage from electricity fluctuations, faulty building wiring, improper use, commercial use, damage caused by superior force, insect or pest infestation, liquid damage, normal wear and tear, and incorrect installation (unless performed by an accredited Hisense installer). To claim warranty service, proof of purchase is required, and the product must be serviced by Hisense authorised service agents.
