An additional 12 months of warranty, extending the total to 4 years, can be obtained by successfully registering the product on the Hisense South Africa website (https://register.hisense.co.za/) or via SMS (HICARE to 48868) within 30 days of the purchase date. The warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and for products used for their intended domestic purpose within the Republic of South Africa. Exclusions include commercial use, damage from electricity fluctuations or surges, lightning strikes, faulty building wiring, improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, physical damage, normal wear and tear, and the removal of the serial number. To make a claim, the original proof of purchase is required, and a service call must be logged for inspection and verification of the reported fault. Hisense’s liability after six months from the purchase date is limited to the replacement and/or repair of defective parts.
